Nigerian Dwarf Goats

My favorite goat breed. They are small and give off good sweet milk.

Here is a picture of my goats

The one on the left is Fawn (when she was a baby she looked like a deer)
The one on the right is Peach.

So, if you don’t have a lot of land, this breed is perfect. I would say you don't need anything more then an acre for 2-4 of them. Their living space can be small. If it is, you will want to give them lots of attention or take them on walks (yes, walks.).

Goats love watermelon so if you have a bad watermelon or the rinds save them for your goats.

If you notice your goats are dehydrated give them gatorade. (Not to much or they the will get addicted)

These animals make an amazing pet, as well as a friend (yes i have a friend thats a goat).

I remeber for my tenth birthday i wrote a whole list why i should get goats. I was offered a dog instead but nope, i said i wanted a goat. In school i was called the crazy goat lady 😂 but i didt care i was proud of it 😂

I am so happy i got them! One thing you will need to know, is it is better to have 2 goats then one, if you only have one they can get depressed and not have fun. And beleive me, THEY ARE SO CUTE WHEN THEY ARE HAPPY! The goats will frollock and will run, and it is the cutest thing ever!

When you get your goat if they are still young you can feed them with goat milk in a bottle.

If you need to trim your goats hooves here is a simple guide. For the trimmers you can just use rose cutter scissors. Remember you have to do this. You can do it only twice a year, but it’s important because it could really hurt them if their hooves grow to long.  If you want to check more of this photo hit this link/ follow it at stillwaterzfarm.blogspot.com

Hope this blog helped!
