A Day At Bear Lake

After church, We decided to go up to Bear for the day, it was super fun, and the water was just perfect to swim in!

We normally go by the camping grounds but this time we went to a different shore, it was super pretty, as you can tell (lol) 

I swam the whole time, it was fun diving off rocks and swimming out far. I love swimming so I really enjoyed this lake.  The weather was a little overcast so if you are one that doesn’t like to swim you were not going to die of heat. 

There wast to many people hear although there were some towards late afternoon (when people thought it would be hottest) 

It wast a long hike from the car to the shore but it would be harder for kid's under the age of 4, because it is steep and there are rocks so.... But this was a super good lake for families cause it’s super clear, and some parts are shallow.

It is about a 45 minute drive from Ione, and about a 30 minute drive from Jackson, the drive is beautiful so I always thought it could last longer. 

I would say I like this lake more then let’s say silver, because silver is extremely cold, and you have to pay to park! Bear is much better because it’s warm enough to swim and you don’t have to pay! 

This is a Great Lake to go camping all though it does get cold around 3 in the morning so you would want to pack lots of blankets or just heavy duty sleeping bags, some I found at Walmart that works just just fine.
